Amnesty International: 94 people executed in Iran over the past two months
In a report published on Thursday, March 2, human rights organizations Amnesty International and the Abdorrahman Boroumand Foundation have stated that Iranian authorities have executed at least one Arab, 14 Kurds, and 13 Baluchis since the beginning of this year following unfair trials.
These two organizations in their report say that the Iranian government uses the death penalty as a tool for suppressing ethnic minorities.
According to this report, at least 94 people have been executed in Iran in January and February of this year, showing a significant increase compared to the same period last year.
