Ghalenoei’s lawyer issued an arrest warrant for Mayelikohan
Mohammad Mayelikohan says that Branch 1057 of the Government Employees Judicial Complex acquitted him in the case filed by Amir Ghalenoei. He has provided the media with the court’s decision and emphasized the dismissal of the prosecution.
In this ruling, in addition to the national team’s head coach, the Football Federation is also listed among the plaintiffs.
In the new chapter of the longstanding conflict between the former and current national football team coaches, Mayelikohan, during a live broadcast on IRIB, sarcastically referred to Ghalenoei as Sergeant Qandali instead of General, saying that the federation’s decisions and the selection of head coaches in several Premier League clubs are under Sergeant Qandali’s umbrella.
Ghalenoei’s lawyer, denying Mayelikohan’s acquittal, stated that there was no available address for Mayelikohan, neither on the Sana system nor in the NAJA traffic police, and even in the federation and the Ministry of Sports, no identifiable address was available. An arrest warrant for the defendant was issued, but access to him was not possible.
In the ruling that was published, contrary to common practice, Mayelikohan did not redact his residential address, which clearly shows the floor number and apartment unit number in District 22.
