A birthday party for an artist ended with the arrest of several actors
The legal department of the Cinema House told ISNA news agency about the situation of the actors who were reportedly arrested at a party in Tehran on Thursday night, stating that the arrest of all the actors whose names were released is not true. However, the two or three people who were detained have all been released on appropriate bail, and their case is under investigation.
The Cinema House did not provide further details about the number or names of those arrested.
Yesterday, Fars News Agency reported that police, during a night party, arrested more than 20 people and discovered a significant amount of homemade alcohol.
The news agency wrote that these individuals had gathered on Thursday night for the birthday party of a cinema artist, and the gathering was held at the home of one of the actors.
According to this report, one of the actors was released the same night on a commitment, but six other actors spent the night in detention, some of whom were released the next day on bail.
