Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, has stated that he intends to implement new changes on this social network.

From April 15, only posts from verified subscribers with a blue checkmark will be recommended to others and they will also be allowed to vote.

As a result, posts from free accounts will not appear in the ‘For You’ stream of recommended tweets.

Last week, Twitter announced that some old accounts, which existed before Mr. Musk’s acquisition of the company, will lose their verified status.

Currently, users pay $7 per month for the blue checkmark, which also grants them access to additional features.
