The Freedom Movement’s announcement: Security officials prevented the council meeting from being held
The public relations of the Freedom Movement wrote in their announcement: This morning around 11 AM, security officials visited the location of the central council meeting of the Freedom Movement of Iran and demanded that the meeting, which had started at 9 AM in the private residence of one of the members, be stopped and that everyone leave the premises.
The Freedom Movement of Iran, while protesting against this illegal action by the security authorities, warns that if a political entity with over 60 years of transparent public service in the interest of national benefits and adherence to the constitution cannot hold its council meeting, what other value remains from the ideals of the 1979 Islamic Revolution and the republic of the system?
The Freedom Movement of Iran expects the responsible authorities of the Islamic Republic to address and prevent such illegal actions and actions against the country’s interests. This action is exactly in line with foreign agendas to spread hopelessness, intensify the gap between the nation and the state, and lead to the collapse of the Islamic Republic’s sovereignty. It is evident that such restrictions will not deter the Freedom Movement of Iran from pursuing the rightful demands of the Iranian people.
