Another person has been arrested in connection with the Ekbatan Complex case.
On Tuesday, May 30, the Dadban Legal Consultation Center reported that another individual named Navid Najaran has been arrested in the case known as the Tehran Ekbatan Complex. Like other defendants in this case, he has been deprived of a trial in accordance with the law. According to Dadban, Navid Najaran has been denied access to a defense attorney, and no one, including family, friends, or acquaintances, has followed up on his case so far.
This legal platform states that a special judicial officer arrested Navid Najaran in Ahvaz in connection with the death of Arman Alivardi, a Basij seminary student, and after an initial interrogation, sent him to Tehran. During the arrests and suppression of protests by residents of the Ekbatan Complex on the night of November 25 last year, a member of the Basij security unit named Arman Alivardi was injured and died two days later at the Baqiyatallah Hospital of the Revolutionary Guards.
Afterwards, the security police forces and the Revolutionary Guards Intelligence Organization intensified and expanded the arrests in Ekbatan, and the judiciary issued indictments for eight people in this regard.
