Another student was killed. Ghazal Amiri, a first-year dental student at Shiraz University, was killed.

According to received reports, Ghazal Amiri, a first-year dental student at Shiraz University, was struck with batons during the protests on October 10th. Due to fear of arrest, she did not go to the hospital. Her condition worsened the next morning on October 11th, and she was taken to the hospital by her dorm mates, where she passed away that night.

It is said that her funeral was held under heavy security, and her family was threatened to declare the cause of death as COVID-19.
