A letter has reached Iran Gate, the content of which is as follows: It has been decided, considering the necessity of utilizing Meysam Latifi’s services in the position of head of the country’s Administrative and Recruitment Organization, to take necessary actions for issuing the identification and required permit for signing a specific work contract.

This is the situation of a president who has worked in the judiciary for nearly 40 years, and such an action is truly strange and outside the usual procedures.

According to Article 47 of the Civil Service Management Law, employing employees of non-governmental companies and institutions to perform all or part of the duties and powers of organizational posts in executive bodies is prohibited under any title.

Therefore, his assignment and essentially employing him through the contested ruling in the structure of those subject to the Civil Service Management Law lacks a legal basis and is against this article.
