Ansieh Khazali: Hijab is a seatbelt
While a survey by the GAMAAN institute and Tony Blair says that young Iranians are not the only ones opposing mandatory hijab, and 74% of Iranians over 50 also oppose mandatory hijab, Ansieh Khazali, deputy to Ebrahim Raisi, claimed that hijab is like a seatbelt, which according to her, both restricts and provides protection.
