Ansieh Khazali: My Son's Trip to Canada is Business-Related

Ansieh Khazali: My son’s trip to Canada is for work.

Yesterday afternoon, news emerged about the migration of the child of Ansieh Khazali, the deputy to Ebrahim Raisi in women’s and family affairs.

Just a few hours later, Didarnews confirmed this news, quoting Mehdi Khazali, Ansieh Khazali’s brother. Mehdi Khazali responded to this news outlet with just two words: ‘It’s true,’ without providing further explanation.

However, at 11:44 PM last night, Ansieh Khazali claimed in a series of tweets that her child has not migrated but has traveled to Canada to develop and support a knowledge-based company that is active in Iran and will return to the country in the coming months.

This is while Saeed Aghanj, a journalist, tweeted early this morning about Khazali’s daughter-in-law residing in Canada and her child and grandchild living in this country. Aghanj wrote:

Ansieh Khazali, the Vice President for Women and Family Affairs, who is one of the most hardline individuals in Raisi’s government and a friend of Jamileh Alamolhoda, Raisi’s wife, has a daughter-in-law, Zohreh Azimi, who resides in Canada. Her son, Yasin Rezazadeh, and his wife, Hamidreza Rezazadeh, who is Khazali’s son, live in Canada.
