Antony Blinken is once again traveling to the Middle East
The U.S. State Department announced on Monday, October 22, that Antony Blinken, the Secretary of State, will begin a new round of regional trips to the Middle East today for five days, aiming to end the Gaza conflict, free all hostages, and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
The statement from the U.S. State Department emphasized that during this trip, Mr. Blinken will focus on planning for the post-conflict period and will stress the need to outline a new path that allows Palestinians to rebuild their lives and achieve their aspirations.
Additionally, during this trip, he seeks to ensure that food, medicine, and other humanitarian aid are delivered to civilians in Gaza.
