The appointment of Seif’s manager by Hemmati is a sword against Hemmati
In his first appointment at the Central Bank, Abdolnaser Hemmati dismissed Mostafa Qamari Vafa and appointed Maryam Aghaei Bahman Bigloo, an associate close to Valiollah Seif, the former head of the Central Bank, as the head of public relations at the Central Bank.
This appointment led to criticism and negative reactions. Appointing a person without sufficient knowledge and executive experience in this field, alongside a lack of familiarity with media professionals, caused complaints to be directed at the head of the Central Bank.
However, six months after these criticisms, with neglect, lack of transparency, and non-responsiveness from the Central Bank’s public relations, the criticisms have increased. In a situation where a major service issue has arisen for four of the country’s largest banks and specifically the IT services company, the Central Bank’s public relations not only remained silent but also left journalists’ and media professionals’ questions unanswered, even for their own satisfaction.
This inaction and lack of responsiveness on one hand, and on the other hand, the lack of effective and constructive communication by this manager with the media and media professionals, has made this appointment Achilles’ heel for Abdolnaser Hemmati.
Undoubtedly, given the widespread criticism following the silence and neglect of this organization, along with the banking events in the country, if continued, it will exacerbate the dissatisfaction and complaints directed at Hemmati himself.
