Araqchi met with European Foreign Ministers and the EU representative
A video of the arrival of the Islamic Republic’s delegation at the negotiation venue with representatives of the three European countries and Abbas Araqchi’s meeting with Kaja Kallas, the EU’s High Representative, was released as the 80th UN General Assembly commenced.
Earlier, the French news agency, citing a French diplomatic source, announced that the foreign ministers of Iran and the three European countries would hold nuclear talks on Tuesday in New York.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has until the end of Saturday to reach an agreement with his British, French, and German counterparts and the EU representative to prevent the re-imposition of UN sanctions that had been suspended under the 2015 agreement.
