Araghchi: To achieve national interests, one must choose between war and negotiation
Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, said on Thursday, November 5, that to achieve national interests and security, one must choose between war and negotiation.
During a speech at Bu-Ali University in Hamedan, Araghchi said that to achieve the nation’s goals, we have two paths ahead: war or negotiation.
Negotiation is often more rational and less risky, but if a nation is not ready to defend itself, war will be imposed on it. The best way to prevent war is to be fully prepared for it.
Defending the government’s performance, Masoud Pezeshkian claimed in the failed Oman negotiations with the US, the 12-day war, and finally the snapback mechanism and the return of sanctions, that the Islamic Republic has managed to split the world into two by gaining the support of Russia, China, and members of the Non-Aligned Movement, and for the first time, prevent the legal legitimacy of Security Council resolutions.
