Araghchi: We have no trust in America

Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, said on Friday that Tehran has no trust in America and is only interested in negotiating with Washington if the American side is serious. These remarks come as negotiations to end the war remain stalled.

Mr. Araghchi told reporters in New Delhi that all ships, except those from countries at war with Iran, can pass through the Strait of Hormuz, provided they coordinate their passage with the Iranian Navy.

However, he emphasized that the situation around this vital waterway for global energy and commodity markets is very complex.
