Araqchi’s Meeting with the Qatari Foreign Minister in Doha

Abbas Araqchi, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, traveled to Doha on Thursday, February 11, to meet with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, and senior officials of the Hamas group.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic announced that the meeting with Qatari officials took place, focusing on regional developments and bilateral relations as the main topics of discussion.

Araqchi is also scheduled to meet with senior Hamas officials. Hamas officials had traveled to Ankara on Wednesday to meet with Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
