Araghchi’s reaction to Trump’s statements: The Abraham Accords are in conflict with the ideals of the Islamic Republic
Abbas Araghchi, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, in a special news interview on Saturday night, October 10, called the Abraham Accords treacherous and said the foundation of the Abraham Accords is a treacherous plan and has no alignment with the ideals of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In response to the question of whether Iran will join the Abraham Peace Accords, Araghchi said Trump usually expresses the things he wishes to achieve in various forms.
Emphasizing that the foundation of the Abraham Accords seeks to normalize relations with Israel, he added that the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran is completely clear and has no alignment with the ideals of the Islamic Republic of Iran and it will never happen.
These remarks were made while Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said on Thursday, October 8, regarding the Gaza peace agreement, that Iran has informed us and confirmed that it supports this agreement.
Trump had previously stated that he hopes Tehran will also join the Abraham Peace Accords.
