Araqchi had a phone conversation with the Egyptian Foreign Minister about negotiations with the US
Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, had a phone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdel Aty. In this call, he emphasized the importance of establishing a framework for negotiations with the US that is based on mutual respect and securing reciprocal benefits.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister also expressed support for continuing the diplomatic path and stressed the necessity of ongoing consultations and coordination to advance the negotiations and reach an agreement acceptable to both countries.
