Araghchi: Relations between Iran and Iraq are at the highest level

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister, in an interview with the official Iraqi news agency, described the relations between Tehran and Baghdad as being at the best historical point and said that the cooperation between the two countries in the areas of political security, border control, and the development of transit lines is being carried out with full coordination.

Araghchi also considered the Arbaeen ceremony as a symbol of the unbreakable bond between the peoples of Iran and Iraq and emphasized that this event showcases the unity and solidarity of the two nations.

Referring to his recent meetings with the Prime Minister of Iraq, he described these consultations as very fruitful and emphasized the continuation of comprehensive cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad.
