Araqchi on Iran's Response to Trump's Letter: Apparently, Our Letter Has Reached Its Destination and Been Reviewed

Araqchi regarding Iran’s response to Trump’s letter: Apparently, our letter has reached its destination and has been reviewed.

Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, on the sidelines of the Eid al-Fitr prayer ceremony, in response to a question about Iran’s letter to the US, said that according to what we have learned from our friends in Oman, the letter has reached its destination and has also been reviewed.

We hope God decrees what is good and beneficial for this country.

The Foreign Minister, regarding why Iran has announced its readiness for indirect negotiations rather than direct ones, said this is due to the threats that are being made.

This is actually a response to American bullying, as we do not negotiate under bullying conditions.

We have always been ready to negotiate from an equal position, and we still are.
