Araqchi reacts to Trump’s remarks: No specific agreement has been reached yet.
Abbas Araqchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, wrote in a message on X on Thursday that the media is speculating about an imminent agreement between Iran and the United States.
It is unclear whether we have really progressed to that extent.
He said Iran is sincerely committed to a diplomatic solution that ensures the interests of all parties.
However, achieving such a solution requires an agreement that completely lifts all sanctions and recognizes Iran’s nuclear rights, including enrichment.
Araqchi pointed out that the path to reaching an agreement goes through the negotiating table, not through the media, and said that using Iran’s name to attack American critics, even for Israel, is considered a low act in relation to the latest fake news against Iran-U.S. diplomacy.
