Aref: The return of sanctions should not be exaggerated

Mohammad Reza Aref, the Vice President, described the reactions to the activation of the snapback mechanism and the return of sanctions as exaggerated during the cabinet meeting held on Sunday, August 31, and said that the snapback mechanism has been blown out of proportion.

We are not volunteering for sanctions. So far, we have been able to move in the direction the system desires despite the sanctions.

Aref also referred to the increase in the dollar’s price in the Iranian market, describing this situation as worrisome, and claimed that the dollar’s price is artificial and lacks an economic basis.
