The country suffers from severing scientific relations with the world

The First Vice President emphasized the high position of academies in the path of the country’s progress and scientific governance and criticized the closed-minded mentality of cutting the country’s scientific relations with the world under the pretext of infiltration by espionage agents from other countries, stating that the country suffers from severing scientific relations with the world.

The First Vice President, referring to the country’s problems in the higher education system in the early years following the Islamic Revolution, such as the low number of students and professors to meet the country’s needs, emphasized that with the actions taken, today we have become one of the countries claiming advancements in science and technology. One of the results was the drafting of a 20-year vision document, and it was concluded that alongside legal documents and five-year development plans, a 20-year document and program should be drafted to extend the strategies and scientific direction of the country.
