The army spokesperson says that the reality of ground warfare neutralizes the enemy’s technological superiority.
Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Akraminia, the army spokesperson, emphasized the armed forces’ readiness to confront any ground threat. He stated that if the war turns into ground combat, it will become an eye-to-eye confrontation. Due to the enemy’s unfamiliarity with the region’s geography, their technological superiority will be largely neutralized, and their vulnerability will increase.
He also mentioned the possibility of the enemy attempting to infiltrate some of the country’s islands or coasts, stating that defensive plans for these scenarios have been prepared in advance and practiced in numerous exercises. We will not even allow the enemy’s initial presence on the islands.
The army spokesperson added that the armed forces are at the highest level of readiness and will respond to any aggressive action in the initial stages by implementing pre-determined plans.
