The arrest of an innocent person during FBI training exercises

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has confirmed that its agents mistakenly arrested an innocent man during training exercises at a hotel in Boston.

The FBI stated that its agents were conducting training exercises to assist the Department of Defense.

However, during these exercises, FBI agents stormed the wrong hotel room and handcuffed and arrested a man who had no connection to the matter.

According to CBS reports from Boston, the arrested individual is a Delta Airlines pilot.

In a statement, the FBI said that based on incorrect information, our agents were sent to the wrong room and instead of the intended role player, an innocent person was arrested. Fortunately, no one was harmed.

Additionally, the agents interrogated this man for an hour before realizing their mistake.

The FBI, expressing that it is investigating this incident, said that safety is always our priority and that of law enforcement agencies, and we take such incidents very seriously.
