The arrest of protesters in various cities across Iran continues.
Hossein Hasanpour, the deputy commander of Gilan’s police force, says five individuals were arrested in Rasht on charges of creating roadblocks and disrupting public order and security.
He described the arrest of these individuals as related to the recent protests, which the Iranian government has labeled as riots. So far, the Iranian government has arrested over 14,000 people in connection with this.
Simultaneously, HRANA, the news agency of the Human Rights Activists in Iran, reported that on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, four citizens named Javid Ezati, Loqman Rahmani, Anwar Shakari, and Sirvan Karami were arrested by security forces in the cities of Miandoab, Kamyaran, Dehgolan, and Divandarreh and transferred to an unknown location.
