Arshia Takdastan was sentenced to death

Arshia Takdastan was arrested during the Nowshahr protests in September, and Branch One of the Sari Revolutionary Court sentenced him to death on charges of corruption on earth and waging war against God.

Before him, another 18-year-old young man from Nowshahr, Mehdi Mohammadi-Fard, was also sentenced to death twice.

Branch One of the Sari Revolutionary Court issued and communicated the death sentence for Arshia Takdastan on charges of corruption on earth and waging war against God.

The court also issued other sentences based on additional charges attributed to him, including inciting and provoking people to war and killing each other with the intent to disrupt national security, resulting in 5 years of imprisonment; engaging in propaganda against the regime, leading to 1 year of imprisonment; and insulting the leadership, resulting in 2 years of imprisonment, with previous detention time accounted for.
