Astronomical house rental prices in northern Tehran: One billion deposit, 300 million tomans monthly rent

The ILNA news agency has published a report on the increase in house rents in northern Tehran, stating that to rent a fully-equipped house in areas like Fereshteh, Farmanieh, Elahieh, Velenjak, Farmanieh, Aghdasiyeh, and Niavaran, one must pay more than one billion tomans as a deposit or advance payment, in addition to a monthly rent ranging from 8 to over 300 million tomans.

ILNA news agency has released a table showing the area of houses, the number of rooms, and the house size in different regions of Tehran, stating that in the second half of this year, we have witnessed an increase in housing prices in Tehran.

The report states that a more than forty percent increase in the dollar rate in just two months of the five months of the second half of the year has led to a rise in housing prices. According to a member of the Tehran Real Estate Consultants Union, housing prices increase daily in line with the dollar rate, and it is one of the important factors in the rental rates of properties.
