The fire of Shakermi has kissed all of Nika’s legs along the historic Keshavarz Boulevard.
After Ali Malihi, a journalist, tweeted that Keshavarz Boulevard in Tehran, which was previously a place of leisure for him, had turned into hell with the killing of Nika Shakermi, Atash Shakermi, Nika’s aunt, also reacted to this matter.
Ms. Shakermi wrote in an Instagram story that Nika had run the length of Keshavarz Boulevard several times, fought on December 7th, ran through the streets and alleys of the university neighborhood, and said on the phone that she was escaping.
Nika’s aunt added that Keshavarz Boulevard is Nika’s Boulevard, and her niece’s feet have kissed all of that historic boulevard—a kiss of love and bravery.
Seventeen-year-old Nika Shakermi went missing during the protests on September 20th of this year at Keshavarz Boulevard in Tehran, and security officials showed her body to the family a few days later, claiming she had committed suicide.
