Axios: Enrichment above 60% could lead to an Israeli attack on Iran

The Axios website, citing a senior Israeli official, reported that Israel has informed U.S. officials and several European countries that if the Islamic Republic enriches uranium above 60%, Iran will enter a dangerous territory that could lead to an Israeli military attack.

According to this official, the Israeli government is no longer willing to set the red line at 90% enrichment, as was stated in Netanyahu’s speech at the UN 11 years ago.

According to the latest report from the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran has produced more than 87 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60%.
