Axios site reports that Trump’s first foreign trip will be to Saudi Arabia
Axios news agency, quoting two American officials and an informed source, reported on the possible trip of the US President to Saudi Arabia and stated that Trump intends to make this trip in mid-May, late Ordibehesht month.
This American media emphasized that planning for such a trip is happening while Donald Trump’s administration is working on resuming the Gaza ceasefire and releasing more prisoners.
It is worth mentioning that Trump’s first foreign trip during his previous presidency was also to Saudi Arabia.
On March 6th, 16th of Esfand 1403, he told reporters at the White House that he plans to travel to Saudi Arabia within the next month and a half.
The mentioned informed sources told Axios that this possible trip was discussed and negotiated among American officials and their Saudi counterparts, especially on the sidelines of the meeting regarding the Ukraine war held in Riyadh.
One of the informed sources says that initially, Donald Trump’s trip to Saudi Arabia was supposed to take place on April 28th, 8th of Ordibehesht, but it has apparently been postponed to another date.
