Axios: Trump decides on escalating the war with Iran again

In an interview with Axios, Donald Trump claimed that the Iran war has reached a turning point and he must decide on resuming extensive attacks. The US President did not rule out the possibility of escalating military operations.

Trump is set to meet with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday to hear their views on continuing the war or returning to diplomacy.

According to Axios, some American officials consider the current situation to be an unstable stalemate between war and peace and anticipate that if no agreement is reached, extensive attacks may resume after the midterm elections.
