Ayatollah Ghavami: Some women don’t even wear pants
Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Ghavami, a member of the Society of Seminary Teachers, said if hijab is not observed, it leads to a kind of lawlessness that we are facing today. This is also for the benefit of the women themselves, because when they come out in such a state and with a mindset to show off in various ways, they become tools for different purposes.
Ayatollah Ghavami stated that the issue is not about a few strands of a woman’s hair being visible, although that is wrong too. The discussion is about the lawlessness we feel in society. These tight and short clothes you see, the scarves that have slipped down, the hair that is exposed, the bold makeup, and sometimes the specific clothes and pants that are worn, and sometimes not worn at all, cause great harm to society, and we shouldn’t shed tears for them.
He emphasized that the truth is women should be advised to maintain their chastity for themselves, the society, and families. Coming out in this way and causing disorder and breaking boundaries is harmful to families, and everyone gets hurt in this regard.
