Ayatollah Seyed Rahim Tavakkol, the representative of Mazandaran in the Assembly of Experts, questions why rioters are given the opportunity to do whatever they please.
Ayatollah Seyed Rahim Tavakkol, the representative of Mazandaran in the Assembly of Experts, in an interview with Rasa News Agency about the recent protests, said:
Mahsa Amini’s family witnessed the scene of her death and accepted that no blows were inflicted on her. Now the question for those who fueled the fire of sedition with their statements is why, after the burning of the Quran and the Iranian flag and the clarification of the matter, they did not issue any statements. Celebrities make such statements to promote themselves. Were people like Ali Daei and actors really aware of the country’s situation when they made these absurd claims?
I do not agree with the way the judiciary and courts are handling the rioters. Why are they being treated so leniently, and why are rioters given so much leeway to do whatever they want? People demand the security of their lives and property.
