Germany pays compensation to Israelis
30 years after the hostage-taking of Israeli athletes by Palestinians at the 1972 Munich Olympics, which led to a shocking massacre, the German government and the government of the Bavarian state in this country have agreed to pay compensation to the survivors of the families of the Israeli victims of this hostage-taking, valued at over 22 million euros. 11 Israelis were killed in this incident, and this event marked the beginning of a new phase of special Israeli security services’ activities to take revenge on their Arab enemies around the world.
