Eshaq Jahangiri: The Eleventh Parliament Had Nothing but Shock for the Economy

Eshaq Jahangiri said that the 11th Parliament brought nothing but shock to the economy.

The presence of the 11th Parliament brought nothing but shock to the economy; they put pressure on the currency.

They held meetings for the stock market and invited ministers. After a few days, the stock market went up, and they were happy, claiming it was the result of their meetings. But when the market went down again, they quietly stopped their meetings.

Unfortunately, this Parliament did not even understand that all these pressures and actions were happening during a time when the economic war was ongoing, and the government was truly all alone.

During Ramadan, after the prayers, I discussed the issues with him, and he said the problem is that you make decisions too late.

A while later, I wrote a letter to him about some of the Parliament’s actions, saying that their actions might disrupt the situation. Perhaps in less than 2 hours, he responded, saying the points were important and needed attention. After this, the Parliament passed the budget law.
