The purge of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development continues. According to exclusive news received by Iran Gate, Iman Eslamian, Deputy for Management Development and Human Resources of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, has been summoned and interrogated by one of the security agencies and has also been banned from leaving Tehran.
This summoning and interrogation following the arrest of Ghasem Makarim Shirazi, special inspector and advisor to the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, confirms the action towards eradicating corruption from this large and strategic ministry, which led Rostam Ghasemi to refrain from attending his workplace under the pretext of illness for a while.
We must wait and see whether the minister will eventually resign after the discovery of this level of corruption among his closest appointees.
