An International Affairs Expert: The Negotiation Process Will Be Lengthy

An international affairs expert says the negotiation process will be lengthy.

Amirali Abolfath, an expert on international affairs, in an interview with Rouydad 24 about the outlook of the JCPOA negotiation process said,

We are at a stage where Iran has sent its latest viewpoints to the European Union, and they are now with the Americans and under review. They have not responded yet, but the comments being made indicate that the U.S. has not accepted Iran’s views, which means an agreement will not happen in the near future. Some officials, including Israeli officials, have stated that no agreement will be reached until winter, when the U.S. elections take place. I am also not optimistic that an agreement will be reached in the coming months. Neither side is willing to declare the death of the agreement and negotiations. The negotiation process will remain lengthy.
