Finally, the fire of the people’s anger caught up with Shariatmadari. On the evening of Saturday, October 1, 2022, as part of the ongoing public protests against the killing of Mahsa Amini, the fire of the people’s anger finally reached Hossein Shariatmadari, the editor-in-chief of Kayhan newspaper, and a number of protesters attacked the Kayhan office.

In response to this incident, Kayhan newspaper referred to the protesters as terrorists and thugs.

On the evening of Saturday, a number of hired terrorists and thugs, armed with various cold weapons, attacked the Kayhan newspaper office. They broke the public relations windows and the exterior windows, and damaged parts of the building. It is noteworthy that one of the windows shows signs of a bullet shot.
