Iran's UN Ambassador Denies Transfer of Iranian Drones in Ukraine War

The Iranian ambassador to the UN denied the transfer of Iranian drones in the Ukraine war

Following a closed-door meeting of the UN Security Council, requested by Ukraine to discuss the role of Iranian drones in the war in that country, Amir Saeid Iravani, our country’s ambassador and permanent representative, addressed reporters at the UN headquarters. He stated that Iran, having experienced 8 years of invasion and imposed war, has consistently supported peace and the immediate end of the war in Ukraine. It has urged the parties to exercise restraint, avoid escalation, and engage in a genuine process to resolve disputes and address the roots of these conditions.

Iran has always stated that it rejects the unfounded claims regarding the transfer of drones for use in the Ukraine conflict.
