Fakhr al-Sadat Mohtashamipour said Tajzadeh feels unsafe in prison
Fakhr al-Sadat Mohtashamipour, the wife of Mostafa Tajzadeh, spoke to a Maniban reporter about her husband’s current situation, saying
The authorities claim Tajzadeh is in good conditions in prison, but he strongly protests against illegal actions in an environment where he feels unsafe. He communicated this to me during a phone call and a meeting we had on Thursday, stating that he feels unsafe in prison and should be transferred to the general ward as soon as possible.
His contact was cut off for two weeks, and after the Evin fire, I learned about my husband’s condition much later than others. I was not at ease until I met him. Ultimately, we had a meeting on Thursday where he expressed his objections to his conditions and the illegal actions.
Tajzadeh is deprived of regular and regulated phone calls and meetings, and access to news through radio, television, and newspapers. All facilities, including access to educational, sports, and library resources that other prisoners enjoy, are prohibited for him.
