Elections in the occupied territories have begun.
With the commencement of voting by Israeli citizens outside of the occupied territories, the Israeli elections have effectively started. This is while Israelis are preparing to stand in voting lines next week.
The latest polls do not indicate a decisive lead for any electoral faction. Netanyahu’s electoral bloc is on the edge of 60 to 61 seats, while the bloc supporting the current Prime Minister Yair Lapid reaches 56 to 57 seats. Naturally, these polls will undergo slight changes until election day as the ideological direction and approach of the far-right on one side and Israeli Arabs on the other become clearer.
