The mother of Reza Haghighatnejad, an Iranian journalist who passed away two weeks ago in Berlin, Germany, said in a video message, ‘I hadn’t seen my child for six years, then during his six-month illness, I had no information. After being transferred to Iran, they seized my child’s body at the airport.’

Reza Haghighatnejad’s body, which was transferred to Iran with the necessary coordination and permits, was supposed to have a funeral and burial ceremony today, Thursday, October 27, at the cemetery of Dezhkord city in Fars province.
