Seyed Ali Khanmohammadi, the spokesperson for the Headquarters of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, stated that unveiling is a crime according to our law, and the headquarters will not back down from its stance on hijab.

If we act in a way that creates unrest, it might not be desirable for society. The enemy is waiting for these days to confront someone with improper hijab, claim that this issue persists, and exploit it.
