America No Longer Wastes Time on the JCPOA

The US no longer wastes its time on the JCPOA

An Axios reporter has spoken with Robert Malley and then several other American officials about the Biden administration’s policy towards Iran. Given the current situation and Iran’s entanglement in the Ukraine crisis, it is natural that the White House’s policy shift towards Iran has become highly significant.

Robert Malley has stated that negotiations on the JCPOA are not on the US government’s agenda considering Iran’s positions on various issues, and if Iran’s policies are as we see them, Biden will not waste his time on them.

Other American officials have also spoken with the Axios reporter, and one of them explicitly stated that the behavior of the Iranian regime towards its people and its involvement in Russia’s aggression in Ukraine has changed everything. Iran, which talks so much about the JCPOA these days, will not hear a response from Biden.
