The Chinese government quarantined the iPhone
China’s zero-COVID policy, after showing some signs of flexibility and changes in policy by Chinese officials, has once again become a major issue for the Chinese and other countries. Any increase in infections and any recorded case of the disease leads to widespread quarantine and shutdowns. This trend in 2022 affects many production and distribution structures in China, on which the world beyond this country depends.
Now, with the registration of COVID cases in the large production complex of the iPhone company in one of China’s major commercial and production areas, everything that was quarantined and closed has been subjected to an absolute one-week shutdown. As a result, the production process of the iPhone in one of the company’s most important production hubs has come to a halt.
