FIFA puts an end to rumors of Iran’s removal from the World Cup

According to FIFA, Iran’s national football team will arrive in Doha, the venue for the 2022 World Cup matches, on November 14th.

On this day, the names of the 26 national team players will be announced by the Iranian Football Federation to FIFA. Two days after arriving in Doha, the national team will play their last friendly match before the start of the World Cup against the Tunisian team. This match will be held behind closed doors and without the presence of journalists at the request of the technical staff of both teams.

In the group stage, Iran’s national football team will play against England, the USA, and Wales. Before traveling to Doha, the Iranian team will have a friendly match in Tehran against the Nicaraguan team.
