Despite recovering from injury, Sardar Azmoun is not included in his team’s lineup for Wednesday night’s match against Cologne.

The German club Bayer Leverkusen officially announced the absence of the Iranian national team forward in the match against Cologne.

Although Bayer Leverkusen’s doctors have cleared Azmoun to participate in team training, he remains out of the lineup and cannot accompany his club team.

The Iranian national team forward is struggling with an injury while only 12 days remain until the start of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
