Stramaccioni's Rejection Response to IRIB

Stramaccioni’s Response to Iranian State TV

Andrea Stramaccioni, the former Italian coach of Esteghlal team, wrote in an Instagram story that he supports the protests of the Iranian people and mentioned that in recent weeks he has been invited several times to participate in special World Cup programs on Iranian state TV, but he has rejected all these offers.

Stramaccioni wrote that he has been following the events of the past two months in Iran and has seen the brave people of Iran who are seeking their basic rights. He continued, saying that from what he has understood, Iranian state TV not only doesn’t broadcast the people’s voices but is also suppressing them. Due to such poor performance that prevents the people’s voices from being heard, he rejects all offers from platforms that do not support the people.

He ended his message with the slogan ‘Woman, Life, Freedom.’
