Former Slovak National Team Player Forced to Sell His Tickets
The former Slovak national football team player was forced to sell four tickets for the crucial 2022 World Cup matches.
According to Eurostavka, Martin Jakubko, with severe criticism of the 2022 World Cup organizing committee, announced that he was forced to sell the tickets he had purchased for the tournament against his will.
This former Slovak national football team player said, ‘I had bought tickets for the final, two semi-final matches, and the third-place match of the 2022 World Cup, yet I had to sell them three weeks ago. I couldn’t find a place to stay in Qatar, and all the hotels had issues. You can’t find anything in the hotel booking system, and if you do, it’s three, five, or ten thousand euros per night—crazy prices.’
Jakubko added, ‘I don’t know which fool thought of holding the World Cup in Qatar. In four months, I couldn’t find a place to stay. I even talked to the Slovak Football Association, but they couldn’t help me either.’
